Tomahawk - frozen

The Tomahawk is a piece of beef that owes its name to its resemblance to the Native American tomahawk (a machete with a handle). The Tomahawk comes from the same piece as the prime rib but has an original cut, with a very long bone. This allows the meat to be handled during its cooking and thus to preserve it from any aggression, the meat thus exhibiting exceptional flavors. The meat is matured between 10 and 14 days, at controlled temperature and humidity.

The oxen are raised for less than 20 months in complete freedom and are fed naturally with the vegetation they find in their environment.

The pieces of meat we offer come from the Gallega breed, bred in Galicia, or from the Charra breed, produced in the Salamanca region.
