We often hear about Bellota-Bellota's French counters and professional clients. You may not know this, but the brand is also present in over fifteen countries.

The export activity began over 15 years ago, as early as 2011, with the opening of the very first store in Hong Kong. It marked the beginning of a beautiful adventure, as there are now almost 7 Bellota-Bellota counters throughout the entire Hong Kong. The brand is present with stands in Department Store City Super, a long-standing partner who has trusted us all these years. Bellota-Bellota products are also available in some hotels and restaurants in the city, and soon, they will be accessible to individuals through their dedicated e-commerce website.

In the following years, we established strong business relationships with trusted partners worldwide. We have been working with distributors, grocery stores, and restaurateurs for many years, both in Europe (Germany, Latvia, Estonia, Belgium, Luxembourg, etc.), in Saint-Barthélémy and Saint Martin in the French overseas departments and territories, and even in Lebanon, Morocco and the United Arab Emirates.

Then, in 2019, we set our sights on South Korea, thanks to our franchise partner. In 5 years, more than 10 stores have opened. These are genuine counters and vibrant places, located in city centers or stands in highly popular department stores in major Korean cities.

The Asian continent is well represented, as we also opened a store in Macau 3 years ago and collaborate with a reseller in Taiwan. In total, there are nearly 20 Bellota-Bellota counters in Asia out of a global total of 30.

Now let's head to the Réunion Island. Although it is a French overseas department, the activity there is considered export due to logistical and customs constraints. If you haven't visited it yet, make sure to stop by the now essential establishment in Saint-Denis: La Casa Blanca. It is a former bank that has been completely renovated into a living space, where Bellota-Bellota has been present since last summer with a restaurant and a grocery store.

To conclude our world tour, let's return to Europe, specifically to Geneva in the heart of the old town. The Bellota-Bellota counter opened its doors in October 2023 thanks to our three franchise partners. This beautiful counter combines the old with the architecture of the building, its historic facade, and the preserved and enhanced old bread oven with discreet lighting in the grocery section. The restaurant, on the other hand, features beautiful materials, beautifully decorated faience tables, and a welcoming and intimate dining area complemented by an outdoor terrace for sunny days. The Swiss territory is also flooded with Bellota-Bellota products, thanks to commercial development in the country over the past 2 years.

Thanks to all these points of sale, the brand's reputation and the quality of its products, the share of exports continues to grow, reaching nearly 20% of the overall turnover.

The export team, much like its activity, is international. Pauline manages suppliers and logistics from Spain to ensure full customer satisfaction, while Florian and his team handle the Asian markets due to their proximity. Due to the time zone differences, the activity is primarily managed in the morning (for us in France). This is not only for communication purposes between teams but also to simplify logistics and procedures.

Export requires lot of precision, particularly in terms of regulations, as well as a strong ability to listen, be patient, and adapt. In each market, we encounter different cultures and consumption patterns, which leads to the implementation of a completely tailored commercial strategy and region-specific product offerings.
